En av Norges mest folkekjære artister, mannen som er ansvarlig for å ha gjort det å være ubarbert til norsk mote, fikk nordmenn til å elske i snøen, sakte og fulle av drømmer på 80-tallet, tok med seg amerikansk sørstats soul fra Soulsville Memphis på midten av 90-tallet, og som senere overførte søramerikanske rytmer til nordlige breddegrader.

Kirsti Huke has become a household name in the Norwegian jazz scene. Her voice has been described as a honey jar and a powerhouse both apt descriptions of this gifted singer..s playful and rooted approach to jazz standards as well as pop and rock songs in a quartet setting. The Norwegian music press has remarked upon her ability to make the audience feel that what she sings matters to her (Trygve Lundemo, Adresseavisen).

In November 2008 Robert finished off his second record. He produced the record himself together with Rune Berg from The Margarets and they started working on it in June 2007. Robert and the band worked on the album at Ocean Sound Recordings, an all-analogue studio situated on the Giske Island, on the stormy shores of West Norway. The new record will be out in August 2009 in Norway, but will be available as a digital bundle in the UK on May 5th 2009.

New Violators formed in Trondheim, Norway during 2006. Originally a 5-piece, the band decided to streamline and now consists of only three members: Per Borten, Even Granås and Haakon Marius Pettersen.

Etter suksessturneen høsten 2008 var det ingen tvil; det måtte bli en ny runde i 2009. Ny cd i september 2009, og Hoel og Albrigtsen vil turnere landet på kryss og tvers hele høsten ‘09.
